More about PS84
PS 84 is a Title 1 neighborhood zoned public school which services 830+ students in pre-K through 8th grade. Our school is home to rigorous Spanish dual language, ASD Nest, and general education programs.
The school offers a well-rounded standards-based program with an emphasis in Arts and Sciences, and boasts Brooklyn’s first hydroponic rooftop learning greenhouse, recently featured in the 2017 Open House New York tour.
All grades at PS 84 align with STE(A)M pedagogy – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. As such, we welcome programs that complement these proficiencies.
Students at PS 84 also engage in a variety of school-led activities such as robotics, coding, sustainable farming, martial arts, team sports, dance, band/orchestra/chorus/musical, etc. Camps/programs that feature any of these interests would be very appealing to our parent body.
Because we are a Title 1 school, programs that offer scholarships or needs-based assistance are invited to make that known.
